26-year-old Ulvi Ganizade, who defeated French wrestler Ibrahim Ghanem (4:2) in the final in the 72 kg weight category, has become the world champion in Greco-Roman wrestling again.
According to Idman.biz, Ulvi defeated Ghanem for the second time in a row. Our wrestler also faced the Frenchman in the final match of the world championship held in Tirana last year.
It should be noted that Ganizade also has a silver medal from the 2022 World Championship. At that time, Ulvi lost to the host Ali Arsalan in the final in Belgrade. More precisely, they openly committed injustice against our wrestler in that match and simply "stole" his gold medal.
Ulvi Ganizade is also the European Champion of 2023.
