The U20 European Championship continues in Caorle, Italy. Sport24.az reports that today, in Greco-Roman wrestling, Aykhan Javadov (60 kg) became the European champion by defeating Swede Adam Silverin in the final based on the principle of the first point (1:1).
Farayim Mustafayev (67 kg) won a bronze medal by defeating Turkish Abdullah Keskin 7:5 in a tense match.
Seymur Gasimov (72 kg) lost to Greek Arionas Kolitsopoulos 1:3 and finished in 5th place.
Elmin Aliyev (82 kg) defeated Serbian Ognjen Jakovljevic with a full advantage (10:0) and rose to the 3rd step of the podium.
