The U-20 European Wrestling Championship continues in Caorle, Italy.
Idman.biz reports that freestyle wrestlers have joined the competition on the 5th day of the tournament.
Two of our wrestlers who took to the mat qualified for the semi-finals.

Vasif Bagirov defeated Turkish Nurettin Kapala (fall) and Hungarian Karoli Barata (10:0) ahead of schedule and advanced to the semi-finals. Vasif wrestled against Moldovan Ion Bulgaru in the semi-final. Our wrestler, who won with a score of 8:1, qualified for the final. He will face Nika Tsangaladze (Georgia) in the final.

Haji Karimov won against Italian Alessandro Nini with a score of 4:3, but lost to Georgian Lazare Gujaraidze by "fall" in the 1/4 finals.
