Azerbaijan's Greco-Roman wrestlers have started their next matches at the U-17 European Championship held in Samakov, Bulgaria.
Idman.Biz reports that Ali Javadli, who competes in the 45 kg weight category, has continued his successful performance. He defeated Armenian Vazgen Vardanyan 7:1 to advance to the semi-finals.
Zohrab Safarov, who competes in the 92 kg, also won. Our wrestler defeated German Max Peter Baumayster 6:3 and qualified for the quarter-finals.
Elmir Charkazov, who competes in the 60 kg weight category, lost to German representative Kristiano Libzayt 1:6 in the eighth-finals.

Idman.Biz reports that our athlete defeated Belarusian Timafey Semyanenko with a score of 9:8.
With this result, H.Mustafazade advanced to the 1/4 finals.
Earlier, Ali Javadli (45 kg) also qualified for the 1/4 finals.

Idman.Biz reports that Ali Javadli, who competes in the 45 kg weight category, lost to Ukrainian Vladislav Velichko 3:8 in the qualifying round.
Ali Mammadov, who competes in the 71 kg, defeated his opponent Vladimir Avakyan from Russia with a full advantage (10:0) and advanced to the 1/8 final stage.
Orkhan Habibli, who competes in the 65 kg weight category, defeated Greek Dionisios Bulutidis 9:0 in the consolation match. With this result, he will compete for a bronze medal in the evening session.
