The national beach wrestling team of Azerbaijan will compete in the final stage of the World Series, which will be held on September 26-27 in the city of Katerini, Greece.
İdman.Biz reports that the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation has released information on this.
It has been announced that under head coach Oyan Nazarian’s leadership, Ibrahim Rubail (70 kg), Sahib Dadashov, Vusal Aliyev (both 80 kg), Ashraf Ashirov (90 kg) and Jamal Feyziyev (+90 kg) will compete for the title of the strongest in the world on the sand.
After the final series, points earned in the earlier stages will be summed, and the wrestler with the most points in each weight class will become the world champion.
Note that fairness in the competition will be ensured by Azerbaijani I‑S grade referee Asif Shiraliyev.
