Members of the Azerbaijani U-17 Greco-Roman wrestling team competed in the European Championship held in Samakov, Bulgaria.
Huseyn Mustafazade (51 kg) defeated Tristan Bernet from Switzerland with a score of 9:0 in the consolation match, securing a spot in the bronze medal match.
Elmir Charkazov (60 kg) also defeated Lionel Vinter from Austria with a score of 9:0 in his first consolation match.
Maryam Amrali (57 kg) lost to Sara Servedio from Italy with a score of 2:8 in the qualifying round.

In the consolation match, Huseyn Mustafazade (51 kg) will face Tristan Bernet from Switzerland, and Elmir Charkazov (60 kg) will face Lionel Rijon Vinter from Austria.
In the qualifying round, Maryam Amrali (57 kg) will face Sara Servedio from Italy.
In the 1/8 finals, Khadija Gurbanzade (49 kg) will test her strength against Zuzanna Maja Ptak from Poland, and Nuray Hasanli (65 kg) will test her strength against Bade Su Doğan from Turkey.
It should be noted that the competition will end on May 17.
