Four representatives of the Azerbaijani national team will compete for medals today at the U-15 European Wrestling Championship.

Huseyn Amrahli (38 kg) won a 3:1 victory over Russian Ervin Sufiyanov in the semi-final with a full advantage and qualified for the final. He will step onto the mat today for the gold medal.
Pasha Aslan (44 kg) is also among our athletes who advanced to the decisive match. The Azerbaijani wrestler defeated Georgian representative Luka Saginadze 5:3 in the semi-final.
Punhan Shahmarov (48 kg) lost to Russian Felix Tuayev 1:10 in the semi-final. He will wrestle for a bronze medal today.
Sadiq Valizade (57 kg) lost to Russian Raybek Muchurayev 2:13 in the semi-final. Our representative will try to win a medal in the match for third place.
Thus, two wrestlers of the Azerbaijani national team will compete for the European championship, and two athletes will compete for a bronze medal.
