The performance of Greco-Roman wrestlers at the U-20 European Championship held in Caorle, Italy, has come to an end.
Idman.biz reports that our team took second place in the team standings.
Our national team finished the competition with 1 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals. Our team, which scored 129 points, was 6 points behind Georgia (135). Ukraine, which scored the same points as our team, took 3rd place.
Azerbaijani wrestlers Aykhan Javadov (60 kg) won gold, Turan Dashdemirov (55 kg) and Tural Ahmadov (63 kg), Davud Mammadov (77 kg) won silver, and Farayim Mustafayev (67 kg), Elmin Aliyev (82 kg) won bronze medals.
