The U-20 European Wrestling Championship is being held in Caorle, Italy.

In the Greco-Roman wrestling competition, the Azerbaijani team won 3 medals. All three of our representatives won silver.

Tural Ahmadov's decisive match was against Igor Punchenko (UWW). Losing with a score of 1:9, our wrestler was awarded the silver medal of the European Championship.

Davud Mammadov faced Anri Putkaradze (Georgia). He also experienced the fate of his colleagues. Davud, who lost with a score of 1:3, took second place on the podium.
