Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers have reached the finals of the U-17 European Championships held in Samokov, Bulgaria.
Idman.Biz reports that Omar Salmanov, competing in the 48 kg weight category, faced Russian Artyom Tkachenko in the decisive match.
Salmanov lost to Russian Artyom Tkachenko with a score of 1:5 in the final and won a silver medal at the U17 European Championships.
Gurban Majnunov (55 kg) also lost to Russian Edem Payziyev with a score of 1:2 in the final and won a silver medal at the U17 European Championships.
