Hasrat Jafarov will compete for a gold medal at the World Championship

The World Championship held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, concludes today.

Idman.biz reports that our Greco-Roman wrestler Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg) will compete in the final match on the last day of the competition.

Our young wrestler will face Iranian Said Esmaili for the gold medal.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan currently has 7 medals. Ulvi Ganizade (72 kg) won the title of world champion. Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) won silver, Eldeniz Azizli (55 kg), Nureddin Novruzov (61 kg), Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg), Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) and Murad Ahmadiev (92 kg) won bronze medals.
