Sport24.az reports with reference to the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation that these words were said by Eldeniz Azizli, a four-time world champion, Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler, who won a bronze medal at the world championship in Zagreb.
"Therefore, I am not ungrateful. The main thing is that I will represent my country on the podium. This is also a certain success. But since expectations from me are always high, I have always prepared myself for gold. Unfortunately, it didn't happen," Azizli said.
The wrestler also spoke about whether he would end his career: "I will think about it. But I am already the only one left of our generation of wrestlers, the rest have finished their careers. I think it's time to join their ranks."
