Azerbaijan's Greco-Roman wrestlers started the U-20 European Championship held in Caorle, Italy, with 3 silver medals.
"Report" reports with reference to the press service of the Wrestling Federation that the winners in 5 weight categories were determined on the second day of the competition.
Turan Dasdemirov lost to Russian Ivan Solomin in the final based on the principle of the first point (1:1), Tural Ahmadov (63 kg) lost to Russian Igor Punchenko 1:9 in the final, and Davud Mammadov (77 kg) lost to Georgian Anri Putkaradze 1:3 in the final.
