Azerbaijani beach wrestlers will participate in the first stage of the World Series among adults in Da Nang, Vietnam on May 9-10.
Idman.Biz reports that the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation has released information about this.
It was reported that 40 athletes from 14 countries are expected to participate in the men's competition in four weight categories.
Under the leadership of head coach Oyan Nazariani, Azerbaijan will be represented in the World Series by Rubail Ibrahimli (70 kg), Vusal Aliyev, Sahib Dadashov (both 80 kg) and Ashraf Ashirov (90 kg).
The first two rounds of the group stage will take place tomorrow. The final round, semi-finals and medal matches will be held the next day.
