The winners of the Azerbaijan Table Tennis Championship have been determined.
Idman.Biz reports that the Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation has released information about this.
It was reported that athletes in the U-19 and U-15 age groups demonstrated their skills in the competition held at the "Shua Sports Complex." More than 120 table tennis players from the capital Baku, as well as various cities and regions, competed for victory in the four-day championship.
In the U-19 age group, the individual competitions resulted in the victory of Adil Ahmadzadeh and Aylin Asgarova. In the U-15 age group, Onur Guluzade and Khadija Babazade defeated all their opponents.
In the doubles competitions, the Adil Ahmadzadeh - Rustam Hajili and Marziyya Nurmatova - Aylin Asgarova tandems won in the U-19 category, while the Onur Guluzade - Aliakbar Mirzaliyev and Yagmur Mammadli - Sofia Trofimenko pairs took first place in the U-15 age group.
In the mixed doubles category, the Rustam Hajili - Aylin Asgarova and Onur Guluzade - Yagmur Mammadli tandems won the main prize in their respective age groups.
In the girls' team competition, Sumgayit-1 won in both age groups, and in the boys' competition, the Baku-1 team won.
The winning athletes were awarded diplomas and medals from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, as well as gifts from the Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation.
