The winners of the tournament among veteran table tennis players held in Baku have been determined.
Idman.Biz was informed about this by the Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation (ASTF).
About 70 athletes participated in the traditional competition organized by the ASTF Veterans Council. The women's competition ended with the victory of Tatyana Aliulina. Svetlana Kayumova was second, and Nargiz Dashdamirova was third.
Vagif Mammadov won the competition for men aged 40-49. Mahir Jabiyev was second, and Orkhan Aliyev was third. Elshad Vahidov took first place in the competition for 50-59 year olds. Yashar Movlanov and Ali Heydarli took the other prize-winning places.
Ilham Aghayev won among 60-69 year olds. He defeated Gulu Guliyev in the final. Mazahir Hasanov was awarded third place.
Mukhtar Aghazadeh surpassed all his rivals in the 70+ age category. Zireddin Movlayev took second place, and Firudin Huseynov took third place.
Distinguished participants were awarded diplomas and cash prizes.
