Amateur and veteran table tennis players mainly demonstrated their skills in the competition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the International Table Tennis Federation and the selection of Baku as the "World Sports Capital" in 2026.
Professional athletes only competed in doubles matches - one professional and one amateur.
Sergey Vermidin won the individual competitions of the tournament held at the "Shua Sports Complex". Ilgar Hasanov took second place and Vagif Mammadov took third place.
Ali Heydarli and Tatyana Aliulina took first place in the doubles competitions. They defeated the Fikret Pashayev - Khayal Hashimli tandem in the final. Alikhan Alizade and Hilal Hasanov rose to the third step of the podium.
The distinguished athletes were awarded diplomas from the Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation and prizes from partners.
