The opponents of the Azerbaijani national team in the semi-finals of the table tennis competition of the III CIS Games were strong.
According to Idman.biz, referring to Report, this was stated by Ramil Jafarov, the coach of the men's national team.
The specialist said that the result would also be interesting for them: "We have been preparing well for the competition for a long time. Our athletes performed more confidently in front of our fans, at home. Our opponents were strong. But tomorrow a team as ambitious as Russia awaits us. We have not faced this team for a long time. The result will be interesting for us too."
It should be noted that the table tennis competition, held in team, individual, doubles and mixed-doubles events, will end on September 29.
