22-time Grand Slam winner, Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal said he does not rule out the possibility of participating in exhibition tournaments.
Idman.Biz reports that the Spaniard is also considering playing with the legends of his time in these competitions.
"This is a closed, completely closed stage of my life. I'm sure my time has come, because it couldn't be any other way. This does not mean that I will not be able to enjoy exhibition matches in the future. There is no need to dream about it - playing with Djokovic or Federer is a very real possibility, but you can't expect me to be at the previous level.
If this happens, we will prepare to perform at the best possible level. If I didn't have physical problems, I would still be playing, but I'm already 39 years old. I never thought that if I didn't have injuries, I could win more Grand Slams during or after my career," Nadal is quoted as saying by Punto de Break.
