The head coach of the women's national team, Farhad Ismayilov, told Idman.Biz about this.
"The team's composition will be almost the same as at the CIS Games, so I don't promise a medal this time. Because in this tournament, other countries will perform with their main national teams. In our case, 21-year-old Zemfira Mikayilova will join Marziya Nurmatova and Aylin Asgarova. She is only slightly older than them. It will be very difficult for the girls, because very strong athletes from Egypt, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Indonesia will participate in the Islamic Games. But in terms of international experience, this tournament will be very useful for them. Of course, I hope that someone will be able to perform better than their abilities," said the head coach.
