The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) has disqualified four tennis players for involvement in match-fixing.
"Report" reports that this was announced on the official ITIA website.
25-year-old Natthasit Kunsuvan from Thailand was sentenced to 12 years. He confessed to participating in 39 fixed matches from 2022 to 2024.
25-year-old Frenchman Jamey Floyd Angel received a sentence of 5 years and 3 months for organizing a fixed match for money, refusing to cooperate with the investigation, and destroying evidence of the violation.
33-year-old Swedish Christian Lindell, of Brazilian origin, participated in 4 fixed matches. The investigation also proved the tennis player's connection with a match-fixing syndicate in Belgium. He was sentenced to 7 years.
33-year-old former French tennis player Samuel Bensoussan was disqualified for 1 year and 11 months. His connection with the syndicate and participation in four fixed matches were proven.
