First Azerbaijan Padel Championship Starts

The first Azerbaijan Padel Championship has started, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Tennis Federation.

Idman.Biz reports that the event, held at the Baku Tennis Academy, began with the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Then, the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov and the Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Tennis Federation Mehman Gojayev delivered speeches wishing success to the participants of the competition.

After that, the Azerbaijan Championship was started. The competition, which involves 32 male and 12 female athletes, will end on December 23.
