Azerbaijani table tennis players prepared well for the III CIS Games.
"Report" reports that this was stated by Elnur Hidayatzade, the head coach of the Azerbaijani youth table tennis team, in his statement to journalists.
He emphasized that Azerbaijani athletes are strong:
"The children performed very well. They fought with more determination than we expected. The children had a lot of enthusiasm. We were trying to win a gold medal. Because our preparation went well and our athletes are strong. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. But we were able to win in other high categories."
It should be noted that Azerbaijani table tennis players took second place with 6 silver and 3 bronze medals at the III CIS Games.
