Sabira Abdullayeva, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Tennis Federation, participated in the European Tennis Association's Annual General Meeting held in Gdańsk, Poland.
According to "Report", at the meeting, member countries of European Tennis were awarded by the International Tennis Federation for their work in the field of tennis.
This year, along with Azerbaijan, Turkey and Malta were also awarded for their significant progress in the development of tennis.
Sabira Abdullayeva highly appreciated the achievement. She stated that this result is the fruit of the joint efforts of the federation staff and everyone who works for the development of tennis. According to her, the work carried out in the country has not escaped the attention of international organizations and has been duly appreciated.
The official of the organization noted that last year she was also awarded an individual award for her long-term services at the Annual General Meeting of the European Tennis Association. She added that accepting the award presented in the name of Azerbaijan this time gives her a special sense of pride and responsibility.
Abdullayeva emphasized that this award is not only a sporting achievement, but also an indicator of Azerbaijan's growing prestige in the international arena.
