The "Baku Open" tournament will be held, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the International Table Tennis Federation and Baku being selected as the "World Sports Capital" in 2026. Sport24.az reports that the tournament, organized by the Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation at the "Shua Sports Complex", will mainly feature amateur and veteran athletes showcasing their skills.
Professional athletes will only compete in doubles matches (one professional and one amateur).
The prize fund of the competition, which will be held on April 4-5 and 11-12, will be 3000 manats.
