Azerbaijani women's table tennis players have made a successful debut at the Eurasian League held in Kazakhstan.
"Report" informs that the quartet of Aylin Asgarova, Zemfira Mikayilova, Laman Abdulhamidova, and Marziyya Nurmatova, who participated in the Almaty trials under the leadership of head coach Farhad Ismayilov, competed in the II league of the competition for the first time.
Our team, which won 7 out of 8 games played up to the final in the 1st round, lost only to the Uzbekistan national team in the final and finished in second place.
The games of the next round of the competition will be held on May 28-31. Based on the results of 4 rounds, the teams that take the first two places will qualify for the Super League.
