The Azerbaijan national tennis team started the "Davis Cup", held in Tirana, the capital of Albania, with a victory.
"Report" informs that Tamerlan Azizov, Kenan Gasimov and Elvin Hashimov represent our country in the team.
The first day of the competition was successful for the national team. The team defeated Andorra. Tamerlan Azizov defeated his opponent Eric Servos Noguer with a score of 6:1, 6:3. Kenan Gasimov was the winner in the match against Damien Gelabert - 6:1, 6:0.
Our tennis players also emerged victorious from the doubles match. The pair Tamerlan Azizov - Kenan Gasimov surpassed the duet Servos Noguer - Damien Gelabert - 6:2, 6:4.
