Azerbaijan's national tennis team achieved great success in the "Davis Cup" held in Tirana, the capital of Albania.
According to "Report", the team consisting of Tamerlan Azizov, Kenan Gasimov, and Elvin Hashimov advanced from the fourth group to the third group.
Our team, which surpassed Andorra and San Marino in the competition involving more than 150 countries and advanced to the play-offs, also defeated the representatives of Liechtenstein.
Tamerlan Azizov defeated Moritz Glauser in both sets with a score of 6:1. Kenan Gasimov also won in the match against Serafin Zund. Despite losing the first set with a score of 0:6, he showed determination and eventually won with scores of 6:3, 6:2.
