İdman.Biz reports that the athlete shared the information on her social media accounts.
"Hello, Stuttgart. It is with great difficulty that I inform you that I will not be able to play in the "Porsche Tennis Grand Prix" tournament this year. I suffered an injury after the Miami tournament and although I did my best to recover in time, I am not yet ready for the competition. I am really very sorry to miss this wonderful tournament," Sabalenka said.
It should be noted that Kazakhstani Elena Rybakina will be the number two favorite in the tournament according to her position in the WTA rankings. Sabalenka was considered the number one seed of the competition.
