The world's number one tennis player, Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, shared photos on social media of the moment her fiancé, Greek businessman Georgios Frangulis, proposed to the athlete.
Idman.Biz reports that Sabalenka had previously emphasized that she was not ready for this step.
"Finally I can call him by another name... my fiancé," Sabalenka wrote on social media.
Aryna Sabalenka and Georgios Frangulis have been dating since 2024.
During this time, the tennis player won two "Grand Slam" tournaments - the US Open in 2024 and 2025 - and also reached the finals of the "Roland Garros" in 2025 and the Australian Open in 2026.
