Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz, the world's number one, spoke about his intense rivalry with Italian athlete Jannik Sinner, currently ranked second in the world.
İdman.Biz reports that Alcaraz has won all "Grand Slam" tournaments except the Australian Open. Sinner, on the other hand, will be aiming for his third consecutive Australian Open title in January 2026.
"I am grateful for this rivalry because it allows me to work 100% in every training session and every day. The level I have to maintain and improve to beat Jannik is very high," Alcaraz is quoted as saying on the official Australian Open — 2026 website.
