The results of the third day of the European Ski Mountaineering Championships and the World Cup, held on March 5 at the "Shahdag" Tourism Center, have been announced.
Idman.Biz reports that according to the results of the individual competition, among girls under 18, Nuriya Noguera Balaquer (Spain) took 1st place, Anastasia Pshenichnaya (Russia) took 2nd place, and Antonina Rakus (Poland) took 3rd place. In the same age category, among boys, Matej Petre (Romania) took the first place, Gil Rosias Sacrest (Spain) took 2nd place, and Adam Hubats (Slovakia) took 3rd place.
Among girls under 20, Helena Oeringer (Germany) took first place, Klara Velepec (Slovenia) took 2nd place, and Emma Bogones Martin (Spain) took 3rd place, while among boys, Silas Walter (Germany) took 1st place, Moritz Baurgger (Germany) took 2nd place, and Marek Foltin (Czech Republic) took 3rd place.
Among girls under 23, Tib Deseyn (Switzerland) took first place, Maria Ordonez Cobacho (Spain) took 2nd place, and Irina Umnitsyna (Individual Neutral Athlete) took 3rd place, while among boys, Johannes Loefeyer (Austria) took first place, Julian Tritscher (Austria) took 2nd place, and Silvano Wolf (Austria) took 3rd place.
In the individual competition among women in the adults category, Giulia Murada (Italy) took 1st place, Marian Fatton (Switzerland) took 2nd place, and Alba De Silvestro (Italy) took 3rd place, while among men, Remi Bonne (Switzerland) took 1st place, Thomas Bussard (Switzerland) took 2nd place, and Johannes Loefeyer (Austria) took 3rd place.
Azerbaijan was represented at the competition by Nurid Shakaraliyev in the individual event for boys under 18, and Nabiyulla Galabagiyev in the event for boys under 20. Nurid Shakaraliyev finished the race in 7th place, and Nabiyulla Galabagiyev finished in 6th place.
It should be noted that the European Championship is organized jointly by the International Ski Mountaineering Federation, the Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation and the "Shahdag" Tourism Center.
A total of 124 athletes from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Italy, Switzerland, Slovenia, Germany, Spain, Austria, Norway, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Greece, Andorra and Sweden are participating in the championship.
