Based on the results of the South American Championship held in Argentina, the next teams to participate in the World Chovgan Championship to be held in Azerbaijan in June this year have been determined.
Idman.Biz reports that Uruguay, the winner of the continental tournament organized by the International Chovgan Federation, and Chile, the runner-up, have qualified to participate in the competition in Baku.
In the final match of the competition, which took place in a tense struggle, the Uruguay team defeated the Chilean team with a score of 3:2 and won the title of continental champion. In the match for third place, Argentina defeated Colombia with the same score and won bronze medals.
It should be noted that the II World Chovgan Championship will be held in Baku in 2026. A total of 9 teams are expected to participate in the World Cup. One team will participate in the tournament by special invitation of the International Chovgan Federation.
