The European Judo Championship is being held in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro.
QOL.az reports that two more Azerbaijani judokas will start the fight today.
Rashid Mammadaliyev (73 kg) and Fidan Alizade (57 kg) will step on the tatami.
It should be noted that five of our athletes competed in the tournament yesterday. Only Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg) managed to win a bronze medal.
In addition, the Azerbaijani national team is competing in the European Championship both with individual athletes and in teams. Our country is represented by 15 judokas in 12 weight categories, including 9 men and 6 women. The team will also compete in the mixed team competition.
