The instability of coaches in the Turkish Super League is increasing day by day, and teams cannot rely on coaches. Although teams, especially those at the bottom of the standings, seek changes after unsuccessful results, the league has not relinquished its top position in Europe in terms of coach departures.
Lent.az reports, citing foreign media, that while 4 coaches have parted ways in the last 12 days, 17 coaches from 11 teams have said goodbye to their positions this season. According to this indicator, Turkey is currently in first place in Europe.
The coaches who left or were fired are: Abdullah Avcı, Özhan Palut, Mixael Valkanis, Burak Yılmaz, İsmet Taşdemir, Ali Çamdalı, Sami Uğurlu, Fatih Tekke, Serkan Damla, Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Bülent Uygun, Rıza Çalımbay, Alex de Souza, Mustafa Dalçı, Hakan Keleş, Sinan Kalınoğlu, Volkan Demirel.
England, France and Italy
While 6 coaches were sacked from Ligue 1 (France) and the Premier League (England), five said goodbye to Serie A (Italy) and four to Bundesliga (Germany) and La Liga (Spain). With double digits, the Turkish Super League has made as many coach changes alone as the English, French and Italian leagues combined.
