The initial doping control test result for Jorginho, the former midfielder of “Chelsea” and “Arsenal”, the Euro 2020 winner as part of the Italy national team, and now playing for “Flamengo”, has come out positive. Sport24.az reports that the “Pilhado” portal has released information on this matter.
The 34-year-old footballer will undergo a re-test in the coming days. If the positive result is confirmed, the footballer may face a ban from football ranging from six months to two years.
It should be noted that Jorginho has been wearing the “Flamengo” jersey since the summer of 2025. His current contract with the Brazilian club is valid until the summer of 2028.
