It has been determined that "Sumgayit", who will be the guest of "Zira" in the ninth round of the Misli Premier League, will have absences in their squad.
Zaur Hudiyev, the press secretary of the "chemists", informed IDMAN.Biz about this.
He stated that "Sumgayit"'s midfielder Sabuhi Abdullayev, and forwards Rustam Ahmadzade and Jean Oliveira, will not be able to participate in the upcoming match.
"We have no suspended players. "Sumgayit" players Rustam Ahmadzade, who was injured in the match against "Qabala" in the seventh round of the Misli Premier League, will be out for two weeks, while Jean Oliveira will be away from the team for six to eight weeks," he said in his statement.
It is also expected that Sabuhi Abdullayev will be away from the green fields for about five months. The midfielder was sent off with a red card in the 74th minute of the match against "Neftchi" in the first round of the Misli Premier League. Later, a large piece of glass fell on the player's foot after he broke the glass with his hand in the corridor, and he suffered a serious injury.
It should be noted that the "Zira" - "Sumgayit" match will be held on October 23 at the Zira Sports Complex stadium. The match will start at 19:00. Currently, "Zira" is in sixth place in the standings with 12 points, while "Sumgayit", having 8 points, is in eighth place.
