The "Shuttle Time" program, implemented in our country within the framework of the "BWF Membership Grants" project as a result of the joint cooperation between the Azerbaijan Badminton Federation (ABF) and the World Badminton Federation, was organized in Lankaran this time.
"Report" was informed about this by ABF.
The main goal of the project is to achieve mass badminton in Azerbaijan, to arouse interest in this sport among schoolchildren and to train young badminton coaches.
60 schoolchildren participated in the training sessions held at the Lankaran City Olympic Sports Complex.
First, the rules of badminton were explained to the schoolchildren, and then the training started.
The project was previously implemented in Ganja and Shirvan cities this year.
The "Shuttle Time" program is implemented with the joint support of the World Badminton Federation, the European Badminton Confederation, the National Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Science and Education.
