A rowing master class was held for students with the joint organization of the Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation (AWSF) and the Azerbaijan Sports Academy (ASA).
Idman.Biz reports that students of the Sports Academy first got acquainted with the base of the Baku Rowing and Canoe Sports Club.
They were informed about academic, kayak, canoe, coastal rowing and dragon boats at the base. Later, the rules of rowing in boats designed for amateurs were taught. After the master class, students tested themselves in rowing in the Caspian Sea.
The purpose of the event is to increase interest in water sports, ensure mass participation, and strengthen students' physical training with practical skills.
