"We are fully ready for the start." Sport24.az reports that this was stated by Roland Hofer, Technical Director of the Baku-Khankendi Azerbaijan Cycling Race, at a press conference.
He emphasized that the race was organized at a high level:
"I am happy that we are back again and will hold a race in the 2.1 category. The teams cover four different continents. 24 teams from 20 countries will compete. We will watch the competition of both healthy cyclists and fast cyclists. Sprint races will be held. We are fully ready for the start. There will be a presentation of the teams before the start."
It should be noted that 24 teams representing 20 countries of the world will participate in the Baku-Khankendi Azerbaijan Cycling Race, which will start on May 10. The main purpose of the five-day race is to contribute to the development of cycling sports in Azerbaijan, to further increase the prestige of our country in international sports arenas and to promote the sports tourism potential of the region.
