Our athletes who won medals at the 20th European Wushu Championship held in Lyon, France from May 5-10 have returned to their homeland.
At Heydar Aliyev International Airport, our athletes were greeted with great enthusiasm by Azer Hasansoy, President of the Azerbaijan Wushu Federation, coaches, parents, and media representatives.
Our team, led by Eminov Elchin, performed successfully at the championship, winning a total of 15 medals. Of these medals, 7 were gold, 5 were silver, and 3 were bronze. The results achieved will be remembered as another great success of Azerbaijani wushu in Europe.
