Head coach Lionel Scaloni has agreed to sign a new contract with the Argentina national team. Sport24.az reports that renowned insider Fabrizio Romano shared the news on his social media account.
The agreement will be valid until the end of the 2030 World Cup.
The Argentine Football Association offered the coach a new contract in September, which he accepted. Currently, only a few minor details remain to be clarified.
Note that Scaloni has been at the helm of the Argentina national team since 2018. Under his leadership, the team won the World Cup (2022), the Copa America twice (2021, 2024), and the "Finalissima" (2022).
