On January 10, the competitions of the 3rd day of the "Azerbaijan Open" international alpine skiing tournament, organized jointly by the Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation and the "Shahdag" Tourism Center based on the FIS calendar, were held.
Idman.Biz reports that on the last day of the tournament, athletes competed in the slalom category of alpine skiing, fighting for the championship.
According to the results of the competition, Kazakh athlete Ksenia Brejnaya took first place, another representative of Kazakhstan, Dalel Talkunova, took second place, and Uzbek skier Ksenia Grigoreva took third place.
It should be noted that 25 female athletes from various age categories from Switzerland, Hungary, Slovenia, Georgia, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Nepal, Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan participated in the "Azerbaijan Open" tournament along with Azerbaijan. Our country was represented at the competition by Azerbaijani alpine skier Anastasia Papatoma.
