A protocol has been signed between Akdeniz University, one of the prestigious higher education institutions in Turkey, and the Azerbaijan Sports Academy (ASA) for the implementation of a double degree program in "Coaching" at the bachelor's level of higher education.
Idman.Biz reports that the purpose of signing the document is to further deepen cooperation in the field of sports education between the two brotherly countries, and to form a joint educational and scientific environment for the training of professional coaches that meet modern international standards.
The signing ceremony was attended by delegations headed by the rector of Akdeniz University Özlenen Özkan and the rector of ASA Fuad Hajiyev.
Within the framework of the new program, students will spend the first and fourth years of their education at the university they were admitted to, and the second and third years at the partner university. Graduates who successfully complete their education will be presented with diplomas from both higher education institutions.
