The International Cycling Union (UCI) has announced the calendar of international competitions for the 2026 season.
Idman.biz reports that the calendar plan also includes the Azerbaijan cycling race to be held on May 10-14 next year.
From now on, the Azerbaijan cycling race will be called "Baku-Khankendi" and the 5-stage sports event belongs to the 2.1 category of the International Cycling Union.
In the 1st stage of the cycling race, participants will move along the Baku-Sumgayit route, in the 2nd stage Baku-Shamakhi-Ismayilli, in the 3rd stage Gabala-Shaki-Gabala, in the 4th stage Gabala-Mingachevir-Ganja, and in the 5th stage Naftalan-Fuzuli-Shusha-Khankendi.
