Today, the fourth stage of the "Baku-Khankendi" Azerbaijan cycling race will start.
Idman.Biz reports that in the fourth stage, cyclists will travel along the Ganja - Goygol - Goranboy - Agdere (Sugovushan and Talish villages) - Naftalan route and cover a distance of 152.8 km.
It should be noted that the winner of the third stage of the cycling tour on Gabala-Ismayilli route was the Russian member of the Kazakhstan "XDS Astana" team, Gleb Suritsa. The winner of the second stage on Baku-Ismayilli was Yevgeni Fedorov, a cyclist of the Kazakhstan "XDS Astana" World Tour team. The winner of the first stage of the race on Baku-Sumgayit was Alexey Shnirko, a Belarusian member of the Chinese "Li-Ning Star" team.
It should be reminded that 24 teams representing 20 countries of the world participate in the UCI 2.1 category competition of the International Cycling Union (UCI). The prize fund of the five-stage tournament is more than 50,000 euros. The competition will end on May 14. The final stage of the tournament will be held in Khankendi.
