The Azerbaijani sailing team will compete in the "Pro Sailing Optimist Cup" international regatta, which will be held in Urla, Turkey. According to Sport24.az, the competition will be held on June 4-7, 2026.
The Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation will be represented by five athletes at the international regatta.
The team includes Furkan Mustafayev, Kamal Bashirli, Sama Mansurzada, Amira Bayramova and Kamilla Hasanova. Our athletes will try to be among the winners in the regatta.
The head of the team is Burcu Alqon Corciani, and the coach is Panagiotis Papadakis.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani team will start training camp in Urla from May 30 to prepare for the competition.
