Azerbaijani para-badminton players finished the European Championship with 2 silver medals.
According to "Report", 14-year-old Zahra Salmanli reached the final match today with her British teammate Kristen Coombs in the mixed doubles competition (SH-6 category) where male and female athletes competed together.
They lost 0:2 to their British rivals and won the silver medal of the European Championship.
20-year-old para-badminton player Ibrahim Aliyev also reached the final match today with his Polish teammate Bartlomiej Mroz in the mixed doubles competition (SU-5 category) where male athletes competed together. They lost 0:2 to their French rivals and won the silver medal of the European Championship.
It should be noted that our national team was represented for the first time at the continental championship with 8 para-badminton players.
