Another Azerbaijani judoka can win a bronze medal at the European Championship held in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro.
"Report" reports that Rashid Mammadaliyev (73 kg), who lost in the semi-finals, will compete for third place.
Fidan Alizade (57 kg) stopped the fight, losing in the previous round.
Five athletes tested their strength yesterday, and only Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg) won a bronze medal.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan is represented by a total of 15 judokas (9 men, 6 women) in 12 weight categories at the European Championship. The team will also compete in the mixed team competition.
