Azerbaijan and Tunisia discuss cooperation opportunities in the field of anti-doping

Azerbaijan and Tunisia are exploring opportunities for joint cooperation in the field of anti-doping.

Idman.biz was informed about this by the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA).

The delegation headed by AMADA's Executive Director Tahmina Taghi-zade held a fruitful meeting with Mondher Gabuj, Director General of the Tunisian National Anti-Doping Agency (ANAD).

During the meeting, possible areas of cooperation between the two institutions were discussed, with education and science highlighted as key priority areas. The parties discussed ideas such as organizing training and capacity-building programs for athletes and their support staff, as well as conducting joint awareness-raising seminars and trainings.

Both sides noted that further consultations are needed to translate the issues discussed into concrete initiatives. The meeting reflected a shared interest in future cooperation opportunities in terms of promoting clean sports, exchanging mutual experiences and scientific development.
